Frequently asked questions
- Is an Ulva biostimulant a fertiliser?
- No. Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 places them in different functional categories: a fertiliser supplies nutrients, while a biostimulant acts on the plant's processes or on the rhizosphere, regardless of its nutrient content.
- How is it applied?
- Foliar or through fertigation, depending on the stage of the cycle. The label dosage per crop is published in full on the documentation page, with the frequency for each case.
- Is it certified for organic farming?
- The extract holds CAAE certification, the Andalusian organic farming committee. Ask us for the current certificate for the batch you are being offered.
- Can I sell it under my own brand?
- Yes. Own-brand supply is one of the usual routes with distributors: we supply the extract and you put it in your own packaging. Terms are agreed by volume.
- Why do you not publish yield increases?
- Because a performance claim needs a trial behind it, demonstrated in line with EN 17700-1:2024. Until we have one published, we do not put a percentage on this site.
