Atlantic-grown Ulva macroalgae, for industry and distribution

Ecoalga cultivates Ulva ohnoi in the Río Piedras marshes and turns it into raw material, tailored extracts and CAAE-certified biostimulants. We supply distributors, formulators and industry, from 5 litres to a tanker, with batch traceability.

  1. We cultivate.

Our own algaculture in a protected natural area on Spain's Atlantic coast. We don't buy seaweed from anyone.

  2. We process.

Cold extraction, so that what makes the alga useful is not degraded.

  3. We develop.

Custom extracts and ingredients, project by project, with the client in the room.

Ulva ohnoi

A green alga, not a brown one. The difference is not taxonomic housekeeping — it is chemistry. Its characteristic compounds are ulvans, sulfated polysaccharides that act as elicitors: they switch on the plant's own defences rather than feeding it.

  • 1 L makes 333 L of solution
  • Ulvans and 11 phytohormones
  • Batch-level traceability
